Stockland Merrylands and Merrylands Court properties are located adjacent to each other, fronting onto McFarlane Street and occupy a strategic central location within the Merrylands Town Centre.
The Stockland Merrylands Shopping Centre proposal will be a major catalyst to the revitalisation of the Merrylands Town Centre.
DFP was appointed by Stockland Development Pty Ltd to provide the town planning input for the development application for the proposal. We have been an integral part of the specialist consultant team during the design phase for the project and have also been involved in community consultations and negotiations with Holroyd Council and other government authorities.
DFP provided Stockland Development Pty Ltd with town planning advice in respect to Council’s draft Local Environmental Plan, draft Development Control Plan and draft Section 94 Contributions Plan for the Merrylands Town Centre and the implication of these Council policies on the Stockland Merrylands Shopping Centre proposal.
DFP was appointed as town planning experts for proceedings in the Land & Environment Court of NSW in relation to this project.
