DFP was commissioned by Priority Plus Capital Pty Ltd to prepare a Statement of Environmental Effects to accompany a development application seeking Council’s consent to demolish existing buildings and construct 3 x 5 storey residential flat buildings. The proposal comprised 59 apartments above two levels of basement parking, an in-ground swimming pool, site landscaping and associated works with strata subdivision.
DFP worked with Drew Dickson Architects and a team of 13 professional consultants to provide a high quality, residential flat building to suit our client’s detailed specifications. The proposal will set a new benchmark for residential development in Killara and is strategically located to take advantage of nearby public transport, schools, parks and the historic “Greengate Hotel”.
A unanimous vote in favour of the proposal by Ku-ring-gai councillors reflected the high quality of the project team’s submission and the ability of the project team to address major issues including access and retention of significant vegetation.
