DFP acted for a number of property owners that had received notices from the Roads &Traffic Authority (RTA) to acquire either all or part of their land to enable the RTA to construct the North-West Bus Transit Way.
DFP was engaged to provide an opinion on the development potential of the land under future planning controls being prepared by Baulkham Hills Shire Council for the Balmoral Road Release Area. Our opinion assisted in providing our clients’ valuers with information to establish a valuation of their land to determine whether to appeal the RTA’s valuations. Several matters proceeded to the Land and Environment Court where DFP gave expert evidence to argue the future development potential of the land which was then factored into the land valuations established by the Court.
