DFP is one of the largest independent town planning consultancies in NSW. We serve an extensive range of private, corporate and government clients, many of whom we have been advising for years.

Many of our team of knowledgeable planners are regarded as leading practitioners We focus on producing sound, economical and practical solutions, and will keep you informed throughout the project. Where appropriate, we work with (and generally lead) specialist consultants. When you deal with us, you will deal directly with the planner who does your work – not with his or her principal.

Through our merger with Hirst Consulting Services, we now offer expertise in retail and economic assessments in addition to our town planning services - our services are detailed here.

DFP is a corporate member of the Consultant Planners Group of the Planning Institute Australia and conforms to the Code of Ethics of the Institute. Our team of planners are all Certified Practicing Planners.

Each month we contribute to a charity, generally selected through consultation with our staff. Recent beneficiaries have been Sponsorchild in Kenya through ChildFund Australia; Cancer Council NSW; Royal Flying Doctors Service; Oxfam Trailwalker and MS Research Australia - Kokoda Track.

We are in the process of reducing our carbon footprint initially by focussing on our in-house energy usage and waste reduction. We are eligible to use the Carbon Aware logo.
